Celebrate the autumn harvest at the 7th Wānaka Autumn Apple Drive at Rippon. The community event is a showcase of making use of and reducing food waste by preserving surplus produce.
Local Food Wānaka will be hosting a communal chutney making session with Lorne from Pirate Pickles, as well as fresh juice pressing. Bring your surplus fruit, a sharp knife, a chopping board, small jars and 1-2 litre bottles for juice and join the communal activities.
The Apple Drive is a great opportunity to meet others and do something together as a community.
To be held on Saturday the 10th of April, 10am-4pm at the Rippon Hall. No tickets required, but a $5 donation is greatly appreciated to help cover costs.
